3.5 Stars - Sacramento Bee, THEATER REVIEW

"The Women of Lockerbie" - A response to the terrorist bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland

Playwright: Deborah Brevoort        Director: Penny Meagher

 http://www.sacbee.com/entertainment/story/1345281.html

Headline: 'Lockerbie' weaves story of pain, redemption

Sacramento Bee's Jim Carnes praises the actors:

"Jeff Webster…speaks of his wife's grief in just the right voice, heavy with his own pain." "Georgann Wallace shows palpable grief, …driven practically mad by the loss of her son." "Michele Koehler

has an impressive moment of emotion when she reveals her own reason for grief." "Eric Baldwin brings steely coldness to the part of the State Department official who has to deal with 'those women.'"

There is cleansing…catharsis.

CALIFORNIA STAGE   916- 451-5822

WHAT THE AUDIENCE IS SAYING:
This play was fabulous. The chemistry with all the
actors was there! The directing, ie. pace, blocking, etc.
supurb. The stage, was so great. This was one of the
best performances, and plays I have ever seen for
community theater. UP THERE WITH B-ST ANYTIME!!
                                                           -Victoria Goldblatt

Have heard the fabulous "word of mouth" about this play,

I totally enjoyed the play. I thought you had a very strong cast who
worked well together. I always love Georgann on stage!
